Advocacy for Regulatory Standards

ISURA is committed to the development of regulatory standards for the natural health products, raw materials and the supplement industry. We do this through the following activities:

• Sharing information and recent scientific findings at academic and industry conferences:
  • Canadian Health Food Association Conference (CHFA)
  • Canadian Conference for Analytical Science and Spectroscopy (CSASS)
  • Conference on Analytical Chemistry & Applied Spectroscopy (PITTCON)
  • International Barcode of Life Conference
  • International Conference on the Science of Botanicals
  • Natural Health Product Research Society of Canada Annual Conference (NHPRS)
• Advocating for regulatory change at the federal and provincial levels, where amendments or clarification is needed
• Providing public access to our information re the natural health products sector
